myWebRoom - Increasing conversion rate and monetization of e-commerce shop 

myWebRoom is a visual bookmarking tool which allows users to design a virtual room with real items they can buy. Users discover curated new content and organize bookmarks in folders in their web rooms. The shop’s main objective was to drive traffic to the site and boost our sign ups.

Old Shop

The old shop was poorly categorized and navigation was confusing. There was also a lack of visual hierarchy and clear call-to-action.

Information Architecture

We have a wide range of products live on our site. One of the initial steps of the design process was to categorize our products and categories and create a structural framework that makes sense.

Our most important page was the individual product pages where we hoped users would try a product in a room - and that is when they would be introduced to myWebRoom. 

Final Implementation

There are now clear categories and filters. Breadcrumbs are implemented to always let the user know where he is at. Clear CTAs are in place.
